A magnificent house designed in Art Nouveau-style, a luxurious canal house, an authentic farmhouse with a bedstead, a typical house of the 1990s decorated in lilac and mint green…..you must come and see them all!
For over 100 years, we, The Hendrick de Keyser organization cares for some of the most magnificent houses in The Netherlands. Within the next few years, 35 stunning stately houses will be opened to the public; buildings ranging from 1550 onwards where you will be able to see how life was back then and is now. Not only will you learn about the architecture, history and the people who lived there, you will also experience it yourself, first hand. There is no need to whisper, there are no barriers, you can sit on the furniture, look inside the cupboards, and even bake "kniepertjes" in the kitchen………
The Hendrick de Keyser stately homes are the most outstanding buildings in our portfolio. As a Dutch conservation charity our aim is to restore and retain important architectural and historical buildings and their interiors.

Thanks to the consistent support from the Bank Giro Lottery, our organization has been able to take on absolutely unique projects which otherwise would not have been possible.
The Bank Giro Lottery is the Dutch cultural lottery. Thanks to all their participants, the Lottery is able to donate tens of millions to the Dutch cultural organizations. Yet again, in 2020 The Hendrick de Keyser organization received 1.200.000 euros from them. The Lottery therefore gives substantial support to maintaining our exceptional historical architecture.
Rams Woerthe Museum house in Steenwijk is acquired with support from the lottery.
Our Museum houses are furnished with furniture and various individual objects. Some belong to the collection of the Vereniging, others are on loan from other organizations and individuals.
